rose cut diamonds - 18th century

What I love more than even the rough hewn rose cut diamonds is the pinched together silver settings. Silver was often chosen to set diamonds in because its darkness offset the whiteness of the stone.
serious rock. you can see the inclusions and carbon. rose cut diamonds are not rated stones. but bright white and visibly flawless are more expensive.

long earrings
simple two drop diamond earrings

long pendant with bow motif

possibly a stomacher that would be worn on the bodice of a gown
