color dots

When I go for my morning walk I like to weave through the Meat Packing District and peek in the closed store windows. Auto on Washington St. is packed full of beautiful linens and pillows and their store next door is almost dedicated to jewelry.
I. Ronni Kappos jewelry caught my eye. Colorful and clean smart pieces.

Having studied art history, Ronni Kappos is influenced by modern art and architecture and sees putting beads together as a small engineering feat. All of her jewelry is made with vintage glass coming from the famed, but long defunct, German glassworks in the Sudentenland region of Bohemia. The molds and pigments used in prewar glass production are no longer available, making these beads highly collectible.
