"Irving Penn's first attempt at fashion photography was a still life with a scarf, gloves and leather bag. It appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine on Oct. 1, 1943. He went on to shoot more than 150 covers for Vogue."
He created beauty clean and calm and serene and crazy playful imaginative orderly chaos.
