fuzzy lights

With a little time, patience, tissue paper and glue you can create a luminescent lantern. Imagine how a few of these would look hanging in a room or a yard. ikeahacker.blogspot.com

The Empire State

The Empire State Building was built just before the Great Depression in hopes of moving the business district up from Wall Street (names so because there used to be a wall there). It was mostly unoccupied for years but ultimately achieved its goal and filled up. PBS and Ken Burns made a stunning series of documentaries on the city from birth up to a few years ago. Everyone should watch it.
